A little snow won’t slow us down February 4, 2011

My first impression of Old Chicago at Arapahoe Crossing: These people are NOT afraid of snow or traffic. When I walked into the bar an hour late (it took me 3 hours to get there), the bar was packed with teams. The staff was helpful and understanding as we frantically scurried around trying to set up. We had a late start, but overall the turnout was great. We had team Unafraid of Snow, M&S, Diana, El Chupachabra, A&G, Red Ale, Fubar, Team Mile High Club, Team Itchy, Clawz…Grrr, Cytochrome P450 (aka We Should Be Studying), Redneck, A Kick A** Cougar and Baby, and team M&M joined in the fun on the third round. The appropriately named team Unafraid of Snow took first place with Cytochrome P450 (aka We Should Be Studying) coming in a close second, and we had a tie for third place between Fubar and a Kick A Cougar and a Baby with Fubar winning the tie breaker. I was a little nervous as this was my first night on my own, but Sarah from Woody’s was able to come to my aid and help me out. Thanks, everyone for coming out in this weather and for making my first night at Old Chicago awesome! Can’t wait to see you all next week!
