We had another HUGE night of trivia at Old Chicago in Superior this past Friday. Some of our regular teams had to wrestle with hockey families to get good seats in the bar for trivia time. The trivia-philes prevailed though and everyone was ready for trivia and drinking by 9pm!

We had 14 teams playing this week, so there were some huge tie-breakers in Round One and Round Two with Mama J’s taking the pitcher of beer for Round One…and they also kept giving me adorable illustrated answer sheets like this one:

Boat Nectar took the crown in Round Two, beating out stiff competition in the tie-breaker from Mama J’s, Burro Express, Last Place, Cowboy Monkey and Free Mike.

Cowboy Monkey narrowly beat out Birthday Girl and Friends to win the game, but luckily the birthday girl got a second-place gift certificate as a consolation birthday prize.

Team Bel Rea Commercial was in the tie-breaker for Round One and I want to give them props for kissing up the trivia hostess with their name… Thanks, guys!

We bid farewell to SF’d as this was the last night for Mom and Son to come to trivia before Mom had to fly back to the East Coast. ::sniff:: Come back soon!

Also jumping into the trivia fray on Friday night were teams Twig and the Twigettes, Pick 6, Stupid People Clap, Spearheads (feat. Justin Bieber), Assembled Anarchists.
