Castle bar and Grill; What does J. Edgar Hoover and a Whorehouse have in common? September 9, 2010

Well, that headline should grab your attention.

As usual the Texas Hold’em tournament was in full swing when I arrived for my 8:00 show. And as usual, I had a few players that were multi-tasking. Playing both at the same time. Would that be a successful plan?

Stay tuned.

 Now back to our program.

The first round was a tie between Royal Bitches and Buzz Tuesday. This was a pattern most of  the night. Excellent Idaho knowledge gave the ‘Bitches the victory. Harris Harris and Hutch, (No they are not a Law Firm) took third place.

Round 2 had Buzz Tuesday take the win. With a second place tie between the Bitches and Lori and Neal. Sadly, nobody knew much about George C. Scott and his acting props. Could have made a difference.

The final round saw ‘Buzz use their strength of movie knowledge pass them by the other teams and take the round and the overall prize. Royal Bitches kept it close, but not close enough. Lori and Neal, ( Need some better team names folks) took the Bronze home.

Until next week.
