Spare some change so Lauren can get home before the blizzard? March 26, 2009

After I was told by the 7-Eleven employee that it is illegal to ask customers for gas money, I sought out the help of my friends at Jay’s so that I didn’t get stuck in the middle of nowhere in the approaching BLIZZARD. I truly appreciate everyone’s concern for my well-being and the attempt at a bailout fund on my behalf, but I thought it would be inappropriate to ask my trivia players for money. So thanks Kramer (the bartender), for helping me out.

This week, Jesus (Hay-zeus) triumphed in rounds 2, 3, and overall. Jeff works at T-mobile down the street, so I'm kinda hoping that if I sneak him a few extra points every now and then, he can hook me up with a deal on a new phone...totally kidding.

3 Aces came in second and won round 1. These guys scored a totally sweet collector’s item for their prize—a t-shirt with an image of a Rocky Mountain News (r.i.p.) front page with a Rockies’ World Series headline. Pretty Sweet!

There was a 3-way tie for third place in round 3--good job Dave for being one of the 3. There was a 3-way tie for third place in round 3–good job Dave for being one of the 3.
The Weiners came in third overall (tied with Dave). Thanks for sharing your hot wings with me--delicious!

AK had some help from a few other team mates, but I missed them. Good job this week-you're always up to speed on those technical questions, being the engineer that you are.
