Hey everyone thanks for making this week so great we ended up having 10 teams play and some new ones coming out to put pressure on the staple NE2! The Iowa Boys took the first round and ended up winning the game in a tiebreaker!  The Lusk Tribe returned with heat coming in third place and getting a gift certificate.  The Watermelon Kings were back as well as the Dinos, Us Two and Mike and Lorrie!

This was our most competitive game ever although we did have some complaints of the questions being a little hard so we’ll try and fix that!  They also gave away 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes this week so keep coming and keep bringing friends!!

Wow guys nice work showing up in force this week!!!  We had a wonderful game with ten teams battling for the new higher stakes and better prizes! If we keep having these types of showings Old C’s will of course give away better prizes so keep it up!

For the first time since I’ve been hosting I had a team win the game but not win any of the rounds, The Monkees found themselves in heated competition with of course The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers and T.E.A.M. both of which won tiebreakers but floundered later in the game.  Coming in a close second just 1 point back at the end was Capri 4 Me who tore up the last round good job!

All in all a great game, certainly more entertaining than the shalacking that the Celtics gave the Lakers! Thanks again everyone for coming out, keep it up.  I’ll see you all next week!!!

Hello hello everybody thanks for a great game on Wednesday we’re startin’ to see a lot of the same faces and I love it! We had a spectacular 8 team game goin’ on and a new squad The Bacanalians ran away with it in the bottom of the ninth getting all four right on the last question! N(E)2 was near the top as always coming in a very close second, Blah Blah Blah returned after 2 weeks off thanks for comin’ guys your wives had fun they’ll let you stay again next week:!!!) Also a shout out to The Dinos a returning young team with great potential They ended up winning the extra $10 gift certificate for my sports trivia nice job girls!  The manager raised the amount of prizes this week because of our numbers guys so keep it up and bring new people whenever you can!! Hey Kids thanks for comin’ out this week! Great Basketball game, pizza and beer, trivia… what could be better!!!  We had a lot of fun on Tuesday with 7 teams showing up with a couple of new faces in the crowd. TEAM played very well and we had a twosome Force that was actually tied with the Monkees going into the last question!  A very interesting end to the game however with 2 teams tied for first and The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers one point back a tough question to follow on company names and origins.  Little Lebowski got all 4 correct to take the game on the last question!!!  Thanks to everyone that showed up it’s gettin’ busier, we gotta keep it up! See you all next week, bring your friends!

Hey hey Aurora Old C’s patrons thanks for coming out and making it a really fun night!  The Pittsburgh Penguins gave us quite the background entertainment for a great game of trivia!  The Konichiwa Girls won the game this week with a very strong showing however Go Penguins and the Fluffy Penguins got a few tiebreakers in there.  Shout out to the Fluffy Penguins who said they hope to bring some friends next week, the bigger we get the game the more fun and prizes we get to give away so keep on showing up!  Also good to see some familys starting to play Big Dog played close and Emily was a 5 year old scoring points with her parents!  Thanks again see you this Wednesday at 8,

Hey guys first off thanks for comig down this last week and getting us out of that Memorial day slump!  We had the regulars in force come on Tuesday including the winners this week The Monkees followed ever so closely by The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers!  We had some new faces in the crowd this week too which always makes it that much more fun!  I’d also like to say now that summer is out I’m seein’ lots of new teams made up of teachers which is giving a nice twist to both of my games, keep it up! Hey Hey everyone thanks again for coming out this week we had a blast last night and we are keeping a group of regular teams which always makes for good competition!  For the first time so far The Lone Rangers came out on top after winning the tiebreak with CD’s Nuttz who had won the last 2 in a row!  Blah Blah Blah showed up about 50% but didn’t play the whole game, so make sure to come back in force next week! Ramrod and Trio put up a wonderful fight however tying for the third round!  It’s a great game out here at Old C’s so bring some friends and make your middle of the week a little more fun!  Thanks for playing everyone and have a great long weekend!

Alright alright great week here dowtown heading into Memorial day, schools are getting out so we are seeing more teachers in the house! Should make the summer games quite interesting!  As for Tuesday night we had a battle til the end between regulars The Little Lebowski Urban Achievers and The Monkees with the Monkees comig out on top in a tiebreak for the 3rd round and the game!  However coming ever so much more closely to winning 99 Bananas won the first round and if it weren’t for a tough 3rd round question they would have taken out all of the other teams straight up!  Come Up and See Me and Car Ramrod joined the fun for a couple of rounds but didn’t quite answer all of the questions.  Please join us again next week bring your friends and have a great long weekend, I know I will!

Blah Blah Blah hung on right up to the end and gt the $10 prize for second!  The Lone Rangers were there as always in force and played an awesome game all the way through! Little Lebowski Urban Achievers and Flying Solo played extremely well especially since they played alone!!

Hello everyone we had a spectacular week at this newer location! A total of 10 teams joined us for different parts of the game so that is wonderful! Flying Solo won the first round all by his lonesome and the Cunning Linguists, another 1 person team ended up in third place for the game that should explain the smarts we had in the room! 

N(E)2 won the game in a tiebreak this week for their 2nd win in a row, nice work!  The Lone Rangers showed up again as well as Blah Blah Blah, the F-tards, and Underboob showing up in force!

Hey everyone we had a great third week in existence over here at Old C’s!  We had 5 teams that played throughout with the Girl’s Team coming up victorious in the end!  The Lone Rangers and the Squirrel Bandits played a very tight game however and tied for that next spot, with Pimp Squad only 2 points behind!! Great close game! 

We will by many people’s request be starting at 8pm next week like the flyer said, I feel it’s better for everyone.  Hopefully that means more people can come so bring your friends, tell your friends! We can make this a great way to end the ever so coveted “hump” day!!! Thanks again

Hey Hey everyone so sorry for the late post crazy week!! Anyhow trivia Tuesday was great we had a few less teams than normal but the Monkees, the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers and Deadwood showed up in numbers as always.  We did have a very very close game which actually ended in a tiebreak although, upon further review I did miss one correct answer that may have changed the outcome.  My apologies on this I will try to make sure that doesn’t happen in the future!  This week should be great, no more bad weather so we should see a great showing, bring your friends!!!

Hey everyone thanks for coming out this week, we had another great game with 7 teams this week and some really high scores.  Winning this week were those brilliant Monkees but a very close game was played by the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers! We did have some great new teams including the Lugnuts and Country Corner who showed up late but finished strong! The Bronx and The Bar also made a great effort and Forrest played solo and scored 30 points nice job!!!

Jr’s was a blast as always this Monday. The Not So Pink Ladies took a commanding lead in the first round despite some very tough questions and their penchant for substituting unmentionable body parts and what I’m sure are “affectionate” terms for the hosts when they didn’t have an answer.

In the end (pardon the pun Jr patrons) Dirty Sanchez made a valiant attempt but the Sully Sluts took the last 2 rounds and the GAME WIN!

Highlights of the evening included discussions at length about Brody’s backside, Preacher fumbling with a lipstick drenched mic on his first night out, Possible Side Effects unofficial team captain’s beautiful smile, and Saturday Nigtmare’s constant pessimism upon bringing up their answers only to be outdone by their elation every time they got a smile and nod for the right answer by the hosts. We’re also giving out an honorary shout out to the Lawn Jockies who got 100% of the questions they answered correct, but since they only answered 1 question, were unable to place for the top prizes, however given the collection of empty glasses accumulated at their table, I don’t think it worried them too much.

Star Wars Fact of the Day: The name of Jawa is simply taken from the Lucas family doctor’s name.

Hey hey! Tuesday was probably the most fun I have had hosting trivia! We had 6 really close teams, in fact we had to use the tiebreaker to determine the winner this week! The staple teams were of course there, the Monkees and the Little Lebowski Urban Achievers were tied when the game finished! 99 Bananas, another frequent team was only one point behind!

We also had a bunch of new teams, Girls Night Out, a group of teachers who were on their spring break were a lot of fun! Fun Club and FUTC (who apparently don’t like Tom Cruise that much) were very competitive and had a wonderful time!  All in all I believe everyone had a blast so please bring it again next Tuesday and bring some friends!

Hello everyone thank you all again for coming this Tuesday we saw some new faces and there were of course the Monkees and the Air Conditioned Gypsies!!! We had a very close however very tough game, it was the day after St. Patty’s so we of course needed an Irish question set!!! 

 JK and LuvBuzz added some great competition as 2 rounds came down to the tiebreaker! In fact we had a one man team Annapolis get 13 questions straight in the 3rd round, good job Reiner! (Not his first time:)  We hope to see you all again next week at 7 I’ll be there for sure! Tell all of your friends it’s a great way to break up the week!!

Hello again everyone thank you so much for making this Tuesday night a great one! We did have seven teams including two new teams, The Buffaloes came a little late but did very well and Boo Ya who was in town visiting from Texas played by himself and tied for the first round! Come back again!

 Our regulars made this one a very tight race, we had 3 different teams win the rounds and the entire game came down to a tie between Pop Vernacular and of course The Monkees.  Flex Appeal and the cleverly named Team Name were all very close to the top.  I love having everyone starting to return every week, it makes it really fun to know a lot of you so keep on coming!

We will have a camera soon so we can post some pics of the great nights we have, thanks to Old Chicago and please tell your friends lets fill the place up!

Hey hey first of all thank you to everyone who showed up this week we had a blast!! It was by far the closest game I’ve seen with only 2 points difference between all 5 teams, it looks like those Monkees are getting some tough competition from the returning River Rats, 99 Bananas and the Little Lebowski Urban Acheivers! We will start having pictures up so everyone can see how much fun everyone is having!

Also this week we had some special guests, as the Make a Wish Foundation had and event and brought 15 teams to compete for their own prizes and it turned out great!
