Wow, That's a Lot of Head... of Foam - that's a mouthful.. the name, I mean

C’mon, it was only a pitcher of beer.  You wouldn’t think it’d be that hard to give it away.  But with Round 1, The Suckiest Ninjas scored top points, and since it was the bar staff, they weren’t allowed to take the prize.  So second place was a tie between Donna and Hawks.  Donna one it, but since there was only two of them and one doesn’t drink beer and they were gettin’ ready to leave, they donated to Hawks.  And finally… Hawks gladly accepted!  And it seemed they were a beer magnet because they won the Bonus Beer Question later in the evening.

From round 1 with 10 teams, we lost 3 and picked up 3, so started round 2, with the same number.  Sorry to see Daylight Cruisers go because they supplied 5 style point answers in the first round.  Good laughs.

Round 2 was  a much tighter round.  I’d Like To Buy A Vowel took the win, but  5 Degrees, Hawks, Yes That, and Castration Station were keeping within striking distance.

So Round 3 was going to be a toss up.  New teams were coming on strong, some of the regulars were holding their own, and it came down to the last few questions.  Castration Station pulled out the victory with Lyle’s Cavalry only 1/2 point behind.

X-Rated, 5 Degrees and Wow, That’s a Lot of Head… of Foam supplied a good majority of the style points in round 3 which made the last round pretty entertaining.

So who were the top point getters for the evening?  With 3 different teams winning each round and 3 different teams coming in second each round, that left 6 teams waiting anxiously for end of evening results.  And the winners were…

Buy a Vowel were first and Hawks were second.  Castration Station missed by 1/2 point and Yes, That were 1/2 point behind them.  Wowza!

I’d also like to give a shout out to J and R and KN, both teams were good sports but just didn’t have enough gas in the tank to make it a close race.
