I am so impressed with the enthusiasm for Charlie’s Tuesday night trivia! Thanks to everyone for bearing with me on my first night on the mike—nobody got up and left! Drinks specials were a steal, with $.75 Miller High Lifes, $2 absolute, and $1 cherry bombs.

Congrats to the Somali Pirates for coming in first! With winning scores in rounds 2 and 3 (2 in a tie breaker), those free pitchers were flowing. They promised to return to defend their title, so expect them to bring it on again next week.

Alleycat came in second, winning round one in an intense 3-way tie breaker and just barely falling short in round 2’s tie breaker. Team Holiday put up a good fight in the round 1 faceoff and finished up third. The Mamas Boys lagged a little bit but swore to bring their A-game next week, so I’m gonna hold them to it even if I’m not there!
