This was a very special night for JR’s and Buzzwordz. A fellow nightly entertainer at JR’s father was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Last night, one bar well was dedicated to benefit Lino’s dad and Buzzwordz was there to support the cause. An anonymous patron bought 100 $1 draughts from that well, a very humble gesture, and Buzzword matched 50% of his contribution. Overall, we raised over $1150 to help the family through this tough time.

Trivia was a TON of fun too!! With 16 teams playing, Buzzwordz truly was a show of force! Thanks to all my Qwest folks who came out to play!

The results: IDK my BFF Jill posted 3rd, J.R.’s Urinals aka Dysfunctional (lol, if you hang at J.R.’s, you know what they’re talking about!) came in 2nd and King Prawns came back on top landing 1st! Good job KP!
